Cosmetic Surgery To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks - explained by Dermatology agency RevanceX
There are some things that cannot be avoided in life, taxes, death, and for many of us stretch marks. Luckily there is hope (for stretch marks that is). Cosmetic surgery has given us a way to get rid of the permanent and unsightly scarring of pregnancy, weight gain/loss, and genetics in general. Not only has it given us a way to get rid of our stretch marks, it has also given us many options by which we may do so. If you are looking forward to "revancex"
When we think “Cosmetic Surgery” we automatically assume having to go through a major procedure that may require us to stay in a hospital for a day or two, and then enduring what seems like endless pain and suffering, all in the name of beauty. If this process sounds like something that you can handle, then you may not mind having Abdominoplasty or in lemans term, a tummy tuck. A tummy tuck is a surgical procedure in which the skin below the belly button (where the marks of pregnancy and weight gain lye) is removed, giving the stomach a smoother and flatter appearance. Though this is an instant fix, there are many revancex things a person must keep in mind such as the major risks that comes with having major surgery. You have to go through the healing process which consists of a few weeks of soreness, maybe some bruising if you added a bit of lipo, and of course a scar. Also you have to take into consideration the recovery your bank account might have to go through. Of course this may not deter all people from this method of stretch mark removal, but like I previously stated, there are many options.
Laser surgery is one of the more preferred ways for a person to have their stretch marks removed. Even though it has the word “surgery” in its title, it’s a far stretch from a tummy tuck. Laser surgery is actually a procedure one goes through, where the light of a laser is used to remove the skin cells that the stretch marks are made up of while helping new skin cells to grow. While it does not cost as much as a tummy tuck, it is still rather pricey and you most likely would have to have more than one session of this kind of treatment.
Chemical peels and Dermabrasions are treatments most commonly done on the face but they can be used as a way to remove stretch marks. In a Chemical peel a chemical solution is placed on the area of the marks, and when dry is peeled away, taking the skin cells with it. A Dermabrasion is when the skin is frozen and the dead skin cells are sanded away. With these procedures the removal of the dead skin cells allow for new skin cell growth. In order for the stretch marks to be fully removed these treatment methods have to be done continuously, but luckily they’re not as costly as Laser surgery.
There are many
cosmetic surgery options for stretch marks from Abdominoplasty (tummy tucks) to
Chemical peels and more options in between. The common key to all of them is
figuring out what’s best for one’s self, which all depends on an
individual’s threshold for pain and their bank account.
For some none of these may be options, so to those some there’s always over the counter creams,
lotions, gels, and my favorite Coco butter.
